Acceptable use policy
Last updated:
i-mailsend is for email that people asked to receive. This policy is part of our Terms of service and applies to every account. Its purpose is to protect recipients and to keep delivery reliable for every customer who sends responsibly.
1. Permission is required
- Send only to people who have agreed to receive email from you. Subscribers collected with signup forms must confirm their address by double opt-in.
- Imported addresses need documented consent: when, where and how each person agreed. We may ask for this proof at any time.
- Purchased, rented, shared, scraped, harvested or appended lists are not allowed, nor are lists from co-registration or “partner” sources.
- Do not send to addresses that have unsubscribed, bounced or complained. The platform suppresses these automatically, and you must not try to work around it.
- Send what people signed up for. Do not use a list collected for one purpose (for example order updates) for unrelated marketing.
2. Honest identity
- Send only from your own domain, authenticated in i-mailsend. Free-mail sender addresses are not accepted.
- Sender name, subject line and content must not be misleading. Advertising must be recognisable as such.
- Every email shows the sender's legal details and a working unsubscribe link. i-mailsend adds both automatically, together with one-click unsubscribe in the email header, and they cannot be removed.
3. Prohibited content
The following may not be sent, promoted or linked to through i-mailsend:
- Payday loans, short-term high-interest credit and debt relief offers
- Credit card offers
- Cryptocurrency, trading signals, “get rich quick” and other investment schemes
- Gambling, betting and lotteries
- Adult or sexually explicit content, and dating services of that kind
- Pharmaceuticals, and health claims for supplements or other products
- Weapons, ammunition and explosives
- Phishing, impersonation, and any attempt to obtain passwords or payment data under false pretences
- Malware, or links to malware
- Hate speech, harassment, and content that incites violence or discrimination
- Anything illegal in the sender's or the recipient's country, including counterfeit goods and infringing material
We may extend this list. If you are unsure whether your business fits, ask us before you send: info@i-mailsend.eu.
4. Sending limits
- Fair use: no subscriber receives more than 3 emails per day from one account. Further emails to that subscriber on the same day are skipped.
- Warm-up: new accounts start with low daily limits that grow as the account builds a clean record.
5. Quality thresholds
We continuously measure each account's recent sending. Sending is paused automatically when either of these limits is exceeded, once the account has sent at least 1,000 emails in the evaluation window:
In short: sending is paused automatically if hard bounces exceed 2% or spam complaints exceed 0.1% (after at least 1,000 emails in the evaluation window). Below 1,000 emails the rates are not evaluated, so a single bounce or complaint does not pause a small sender. A person reviews every pause. Sending resumes once the cause is fixed, for example after removing an outdated or unconfirmed list.
6. Enforcement
If an account breaches this policy, we may, depending on the severity: warn the customer, pause or limit sending, require proof of consent or a list clean-up, remove content, suspend the account, or terminate the contract for good cause. Where we have to, we inform the competent authorities. Details are in our Terms of service.
7. Reporting abuse
If you received an email sent through i-mailsend that you did not ask for, or you see any other misuse, write to abuse@i-mailsend.eu. Please include the complete email with its headers if you can; it lets us identify the sender quickly. We review every report and act on it.
To stop receiving a particular sender's emails, use the unsubscribe link in the email. It works at once and needs no login.
